BC Ferries is finally updating its pet area.
Public Affairs Manager Darin Guenette says there are a handful of ferries that will be updated in the near future, and the new ferries will also have the pet area as well.
Guenette says the pet area on the Queen of Oak Bay specifically now has heating, individual kennels, comfortable benches, hygiene products, and a hose to clean up messes.
