With Environment Canada suggesting Vancouver Island and the Sunshine Coast may see some snow this week, ICBC is offering some winter driving tips.
Spokesperson Caroline Robinson says we’re into the time of year where drivers need to be prepared for winter conditions and make sure your vehicle is ready to go. She notes it’s important to have safety gear in your car, like a flashlight, shovel and first aid kit.
Robinson says it’s important to remain patient on the roads when conditions are not ideal.
Robinson says if you are not comfortable driving in the weather conditions the best thing to do is to stay off the roads until conditions improve.
