Trevena says NDP strongly believes in electoral reform

Claire Trevena says it’s very important to address the way voting works in British Columbia.

This comes after Wednesday’s announcement that the NDP government will be having a referendum on electoral reform. The North Island MLA says the referendum will give people a chance to change a system they may see as unfair.

Trevena says they’re still working on the exact language of the referendum question. She says she, and the NDP government, strongly believe in proportional representation and will be out advocating for the change.
