Harle family proud of skier’s Olympic debut

It’s been quite the experience for one of Campbell River’s own at the 2018 Winter Olympics, but it’s also been exciting for freestyle skier Teal Harle’s family.

Teal’s uncle, Shannen Harle, says the 21-year-old has been working hard for many years now:

Harle started skiing in the Nancy Greene program when he was six-years-old, learned about freestyle skiing when he was nine and entered his first competition when he was 12.

Shannen says the whole family is proud of Harle’s Olympic debut:

Harle finished fifth in the men’s freestyle ski slopestyle event this past weekend with a final overall score of 90.00.
