BC Hydro says it’s closing Brewster Lake Road near the John Hart Dam over the next two weeks for maintenance work.
Spokesperson Stephen Watson says the road will be closed November 4th to 8th, and then November 12th to 15th, from 7:00am to 5:00pm.
He says the reason for the closure is that BC Hydro crews need to conduct maintenance work along the spillway section of the dam, which includes the placement of a crane along the road deck.
Road closure signs will be placed on either side of the dam and BC Hydro is asking drivers to use alternate routes if you plan to travel through the area.
