Get tested on Hepatitis Day

220,000 Canadians are affected with hepatitis C, 80,000 British Columbians are living with it, and 44% of people don’t know they have it.

So, AIDS Vancouver Island invites you to get tested on July 28 for world hepatitis day.
At the Campbell River office on 1371 Cedar Street, right behind the Dairy Queen, they’ll be having free food, games, and information on liver health, as well as testing and treatment for hepatitis C.
Spokesperson Leanne Wingert says their aim and focus is to get a lot of baby boomers tested.
