Rowing Canada building new National Rowing Centre of Excellence

Rowing Canada wants to build a new National Rowing Centre of Excellence, and Quamichan Lake is on their list of potential locations.

They’re considering a few different spots throughout Southwestern BC.

Dave Devana is the Chief Administrative Officer for the Municipality of North Cowichan. He says they’re excited about the idea.

 

Devana the he expects that Rowing Canada will do the feasibility study in the fall, or over the winter, and public consultations would be part of the process.
