Many people in our community depend on ferries every day – for transportation, work, and the economy.
So, the NDP says they will allow BC Ferries to access federal funding.
North-Island Powell River candidate Rachel Blaney says access to federal infrastructure funding would help reduce ferry costs.
Blaney adds the NDP will make sure we have funding for infrastructure including terminals, and fleets and an eligibility category for federal funding under the New Building Canada Fund.
