Expect some adjustments to your next ferry trip, as BC Ferries announces a modified schedule for the Campbell River – Quathiaski Cove route next weekend.
The ferry line says the schedule comes because of repairs that are needed for the Island Nagalis ferry, with the Island K’ulut’a to provide one-ship service for that route.
The schedule includes sailings as early as 6:15 am and 6:35 am leaving Quathiaski Cove and Campbell River respectively, with the last sailings set for 11 pm for Quathiaski, and 11:30 pm for Campbell River.
BC Ferries adds that while the service is in effect, there is a potential for sailing waits, where they recommend you arrive as early as possible, and to consider carpooling.
The Island Nagalis is set to return to service on Monday October 30.
