The Strathcona Regional District will be testing its Tsunami Warning system next week.
The regional district plans to send out a test alert to make sure the system is working as intended in the event of an emergency.
Along with ensuring it works properly, the test will be also used to raise public awareness about the system.
You will receive the alert by SMS text, phone call, or by email.
The alert will be sent on Monday December 4 at 7:00 p.m.
