Election night was full of new turns.
Just before 10 o’clock yesterday night, the Liberals led with 184 seats, which won Justin Trudeau a comfortable majority government after the longest federal election campaign in Canadian history.
As well, conservative leader Stephen Harper stepped down, ending his nine and a half year term.
Local liberal candidate Peter Schwarzhoff says everyone seemed pleased with the results.
