Campbell River Search and Rescue, Citizens on Patrol benefit from Eagles Auxiliary donations

Two organizations dedicated to community safety in Campbell River are receiving support from a local service club.

The Campbell River Eagles Ladies Auxiliary Branch 3097 recently donated $20,000 to Campbell River Search and Rescue and another $500 to the local Citizens on Patrol group.

Search and Rescue said the funding will help purchase critical equipment to strengthen search operations and emergency response efforts in the field.

“We are grateful to have partners like the Eagles Club and the Ladies Auxiliary standing behind us. For many years, these groups have been steadfast supporters of CRSAR, and their ongoing support provides essential resources while reflecting the strong sense of community and care that makes Campbell River such a remarkable place,” said a statement from SAR.

The donations were presented last month as part of the auxiliary’s ongoing commitment to supporting community organization.
