Double OT Loss to Victoria

Hockey fans in Campbell River were treated to a barn burner at the Rod Brind’Amour arena last night.

The Storm and the Victoria Cougars took their final regular season game to extra time tied at four a piece. With just 23 seconds left in the second overtime, Ryan Carson, on a perfect feed from Nathan Looyson scored to give the visitors the 5-4 victory.

Head Coach Lee Stone agrees that for the fans it was a thrilling game.

Gage Colpron scored his second of the night, late in regulation, to draw the two teams even. Josh Coblenz and Alex Brewer also scored for the Storm.
