National TV Event Looks To Bring Attention To Powell River

Work is underway to promote Powell River on a national scale through the 2017 Logger Sports.

Mayor Dave Formosa says logger sports is returning to Powell River this summer and TSN will be in the region to film the event.

He says this wouldn’t be possible without the hard work of the organizers.

Formosa says a committee is being put together to make sure they are able to capitalize on the national audience to promote the community.
