Misspelled road sign taken down, no plans to replace it

A misspelled road sign has been removed from Jubilee Parkway. The sign read “Entering Campbell River Bundary”, omitting the letter “o” from “boundary”.

Campbell River Communications Manager Julie Douglas said it wasn’t a city sign and was removed this afternoon. Douglas added both the city and the province have reviewed the situation and there is no plan to replace the sign at this time.
