A fatal crash occurred at the intersection of Jubilee Parkway and the Inland Island Highway Monday night.
Coporal Gord Hay says their investigation reveals that a man driving a 1989 Dodge pickup was travelling southbound on the Inland Island Highway and turning left on to Jubilee Parkway when he collided with a 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier heading northbound on the Inland Island Highway.
Hay says the driver of the Cavalier was a 24-year-old Campbell River resident and has died from his injuries. The other driver was recently released from hospital.
