Brewster Lake Road will be closed off on either side of the John Hart dam on July 22nd and 23rd.
The closure will be from 8:00am to 4:00pm.
BC Hydro spokesperson Stephen Watson says the closure is so crews can do work safely at the new water intake beside the spillway dam.
The work includes putting in metal stop logs on the upstream side of the dam, which will close off reservoir water from the two water intake maintenance gates.
There will be road closure signage in the area.
Watson adds the second day road closure time may end earlier, but he says people should still plan for a full two-day closure.
