Habitat For Humanity hosting info session for new homeowners

If you’re looking for a new home, Habitat for Humanity wants you to check out two information sessions happening next month.

The organization partners with working, low-income families to help them afford a home.

The meeting will give potential new owners a full behind the scenes look at how or if they are eligible for a home as well as ask any questions they might have.

Successful candidates must have an income range between $32,500 and $59,500. They will get their home through an affordable mortgage set at 30 percent of that annual income, and they have to contribute at least 500 volunteer hours.

If you meet the selection criteria then the team wants to talk with you about a partnership.

The two information sessions will be taking place in Campbell River and Courtenay.

The first will be at the Campbell River Community Centre on February 12th at 7:00pm, and the second will be at the Lewis Center in the Comox Valley on February 24th.

More information can be found at Habitat For Humanity North Vancouver Island’s Website.
