Mainroad North Island will be performing emergency rip rap work on Highway 28, Gold River near 65 km.
Drivers can expect delays starting Monday until Feb. 14th.
Crews will be in the area from 8:00am to 4:00pm.
The road will be reduced to single lane alternating traffic with speed reductions and up to 20-minute delays.
As this is still a construction zone, Mainroad is asking drivers to “please show respect for all roadside crews and slow down.”
It’s 24-hour communications and dispatch office will pass on all observations and concerns to crews when contacted.
