Storm Battle Buccaneers

In Vancouver Island Junior Hockey League (VIJHL) action last night, before another big crowd at the Brindy, the Campbell River Storm downed the Nanaimo Buccaneers 4-2 to capture sole possession of first place in the North Division.

Head Coach Lee Stone says that despite the slow start, he was pleased with the result.

Storm goals came from Gage Colpron, Dylan McCann and Kobe Oishi who had a pair, including the game winner.

The next action for Campbell River is next Friday when the Victoria Cougars are in town.
