Win in North Saanich

It was a long week for the Campbell River Storm between games following last Friday’s disappointing loss. Yesterday, they were on the road battling the Peninsula Panthers.

The Storm came out flying in the first, staking out a 3-0 lead by the eight-minute mark, on their way to a 6-3 victory.

The newly assembled line of Alex Rosolowsky, Gage Colpron and Colin Blake was effective, figuring in on three goals. Blake, who was named first star, finished with a four-point night.

Campbell River goals came from Colpron with two, Rosolowsky, Blake, Brett Witala and Christian Brandt. Goalie Andy Gilker would get the win.

The Storm continue their road trip tonight in Parksville against the Oceanside Generals. Then back home on Sunday at 4 o’clock to take on  the Panthers once again.
