The first place Storm were on the road last night in Saanich where they handed the Braves a 6-2 loss. The Campbell River win closed off a perfect month and extended their winning streak to nine games.
Alex Rosolowsky was the big gun, notching his first hat-trick in the VIJHL. Other goals came from Gage Colpron, Kobe Oishi and Joe Gage.
Although Campbell River’s power play was ineffective going 0 for 5, the same could not be said for the penalty kill. Always a threat shorthanded, the Storm would get two goals while serving penalties.
They are back at Rod Brind’Amour Arena on Friday for the Teddy Bear Toss Game against the Glacier Kings.
