The centre is located at the Campbell River Community Centre at 401 11th Ave.

It is open for short-term stays and provides a safe place to warm up and connect with resources.

The centre will be staffed by experienced support workers.

It opens at 10 p.m. Monday, March 9 and remains available until 7 a.m. Tuesday, March 10.

It will open again at 10 p.m. Tuesday, March 10 and remain available until 7 a.m. Wednesday, March 11.

The operation of the warming centre is a partnership between city staff, local social service organizations, volunteers and contractors.
