The Strathcona Regional District is taking a strong look at the zoning bylaw on Cortes Island.
The bylaw hasn’t been updated since 2002 and a full review is needed to make sure it follows legislation and district bylaws.
Aniko Nelson, Parks and Planning Manager for the Regional District, says the review is important because the rezoning needs to correspond with the others.
An open house meeting on the zoning bylaw review starts at 2:30 at Gorge Hall on Tuesday.
