If you’re registered to vote you should have received your Voter Information Card from Elections Canada.
The cards went out in late September, and if you don’t have it yet you should contact Elections Canada.
Dorothy Sitek of Elections Canada says there’s a key deadline to keep in mind.
If you plan to use a mail-in ballot, you have to apply by 6 p.m. October 13.
People can apply to vote by mail online at elections.ca.
For the first time this election, people can also register to vote online.
