New logo for Quinsam Liquor Store selected from contest submissions

Chief and council of the We Wai Kai Nation have selected a new logo for the Quinsam Liquor Store.

The logo, designed by We Wai Kai member Jessica Chickite, was chosen through a nation-run contest.

“This design represents our Nation by using the sea worm, created to resemble a wine bottle and corkscrew,” said Chickite. “The circular design reflects the ocean where the sea worm lives and the coast we are from.”

The We Wai Kai Nation’s economic development program is thanking everyone who participated in the contest.
