The Campbell River Fire Department is looking for a new Deputy Chief.
Former Deputy Chief Chris Vrabel left for an opportunity on the South Island.
Deputy Fire Chief of Operations Thomas Doherty says the ideal applicant will have knowledge of the area and cover an array of responsibilities.
Applications for the position will be accepted until January 31st.
Doherty says the hiring and transition process will take about three months.
