Over the weekend, the Campbell River Storm dropped their first game of the season.
Friday night, the Nanaimo Buccaneers returned to town and came away 4-1 winners.
According to Head Coach Lee Stone it wasn’t the results they wished for.
“It was a disappointing week where we didn’t think our effort level was where it needed to be.”

Despite the loss, they remain atop the VIJHL standings with 10 points on five wins and a loss.
Campbell River’s lone goal came from Kobe Oishi with assists to Christian Brandt and Alex Brewer.
The Storm’s next opportunity for redemption is Friday at home against Oceanside.
