A master plan has been adopted for Frank James Park.
Parks Supervisor Grant Parker says the vision for the park is to upgrade the park to make it a showcase for Willow Point.
He says that, “some areas that they’re gonna look at building [on] are an update to the sea-walk, a festival lawn, a new washroom, a picnic area, some beach enhancements, a new crosswalk [and] upgrades to the Sybil Andrews access.”
Parker says now that the master plan has been adopted, the proposed upgrades can go before council as budget deliberations get underway in later this year.
