Charstate Park getting community garden

Campbell River is getting a new community garden. Greenways Land Trust’s application for the project has been approved by council.

The garden is going in Charstate Park. It’ll be installed in the north portion of the park to create accessible gardening space for people who live nearby.

The city says community gardens are supported by its Sustainable Official Community Plan and its Agriculture Plan.
