The Frogger 15 this year is supporting Campbell River’s trails this year.
The 15 kilometre run will be held September 19 and all money raised will be going towards Greenways Land Trust to raise awareness to finish the Greenway Loop surrounding the city.
Greenways Land Trust’s acting operations manager Cynthia Bendickson says they are trying to build support with the city and other partners to get this project completed.
It’s going to be expensive, but Bendickson believe it’s worth it.
The Frogger 15 is just one of the fundraisers that support what Greenway Land Trusts does in the community.
The run will start at Spirit Square at 9 a.m. on September 19.
And, if you’re interested in getting a t-shirt for the run, make sure to register before Saturday, August 15.
